UEFA Champions League Final 2012 Tickets

The UEFA Champions League is an international club football competition that is run and organised by the Union of European Football Associations. It is organised annually and allows for UEFA Member countries to participate, with 32 teams determined by nation and the UEFA Coefficients of the member associations. Only a certain number of teams may enter and based on the coefficient, more teams from a particular country may be eligible for the group stage of 32 as opposed to other countries. Furthermore, some teams must compete in qualifying rounds and play-off rounds in order to succeed and make it to the group stage, where the real essence of the tournament begins.

The UEFA Champions League has been around since 1955, but was formerly known as the European Champion Clubs' Cup until 1992 when it was greatly expanded to incorporate a different method of group phases and introduce new teams, becoming the Champions League. This new format has since added excitement and flavor to a booming competition and managed to enthral and capture the delight of clubs, players and fans for years.

The 2011-2012 competition is no different, already sparking a number of high flying events and records set to make this battle for the Champions League final an electric one. So far through this football season, the Champions League has seen some unlikely results and heroes, such as the progression of APOEL Football Club, the first ever Cypriot side to reach the knockout stages of the Champions League, to the shock relegation of both Manchester sides from the competition in stunning fashion, with both anticipated to be big contenders for the competition; but no more.

The entire tournament builds up to the great and spectacular finale, set to take place this year in the historic stadium of the host country, the Allianz Arena in Munich. The famous stadium built for the FIFA World Cup 2006 was used multiple times for World Cup games, but the honor of the World Cup Final was reserved for the Olympic Stadium in Berlin.

This year, the Champions League Final is hotly anticipated to draw a capacity crowd yet again and show that the two progressive finalists of the competition have proven to be the real champions of UEFA, in a battle for victory in Munich. Each year, every year, the Champions League Final shows the true grit and determination of each team to make it to this match, the match that shows the world who is supreme in football, who is the champion of Europe and can hold their own in one of the strongest and most fierce tournaments of any sporting code.

TicketCenter is here for all your ticketing needs and can get you seats to the greatest finale in European football. Each and every game is an adventure and one for the history books that you'd be glad you saw.
